Q:How come is cutting fluid usually smelly?
A: Generally, the standard bacterial content of the emulsified cutting fluid is less than 1000/mL. These dirty oil float on the water and block the air, and the bacteria (anaerobic bacteria) in the cutting fluid rapidly breed. When the bacteria multiply to more than 0.1×105~1×106/mL,the emulsified cutting fluid will deteriorate and become odorous and pollute the surrounding environment, making harmful gases such as hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide into the air !
Q:I have operating this process of machining for years, without cutting fluid filtered. Is it really necessary to filter the cutting fluid?

Q:How do you calculate the sewage treatment volume?
Typical oil-water separator companies only remove the slick oil on the surface of the processing machine’s tank, and convert the tank capacity into the amount of water processed. This is incorrect because there are still many suspended impurities in the water that have not been removed. Centrifugal oil-water residue, the three-phase separator actually calculates the amount of water sucked into the machine, filtered by the machine and then discharged clean cutting fluid. This is the real capacity amount of water that can be treated!
Q:Will the concentration of the cutting fluid be changed or reduced after passing through the centrifugal oil-water separator?
No, the centrifugal separator separates liquids and solids with physical way, while the cutting fluid is chemical combination of water and oil. The physical method cannot change its concentration!
Q:The cutting fluid is filtered by a general oil-water separator, and there is no oil slick. How come has the tool life not improved?
The typical filter only scrapes the floating oil or sucks it into the filter, separates the floating oil, and let the sinking water return to the water tank. A better case is to add a filter tank, but the filtering accuracy is also very limited (because the filter screen can be blocked due to high prevision filter). Therefore, the filtered cutting fluid looks clean using a general oil-water separator, but there are still many tiny impurities not been seen by naked eyes. It is this factor that causes the tool life to be greatly reduced! Particles smaller than 40μm can’t be seen by the naked eye, and these invisible impurities have an impact on metal cutting that cannot be underestimated. During cutting, they enter the cutting edge and the surface of the workpiece, causing strong friction, increasing the cutting temperature, greatly reducing the durability of the tool, and degrading the quality of the processed surface! Therefore, a good filter needs to have the ability to filter small impurities, and to reduce the impurities in the cutting fluid (such as chips, grinding wheel powder, etc.) from 40μm to less than 10μm, the tool life can be extended by 1 to 3 times.
Q:How much does it cost to replace the waste water regularly? Do we still need to change the oil after using the separator, ?

Q:Using CT-385 centrifugal oil-water separator, it can:

Q&A for high-pressure central water outlet
Q:Is the high-pressure central water outlet can be installed on all processing machines?
No! Regular pipelines cannot withstand high pressure, and they can be easily be broken or damaged! It can be installed only with selected a central water outlet system by the manufacturer!
Q:Will the tool life be improved by installing high-pressure center water? By how much?
High-pressure water outlet can effectively reduce the cutting temperature and improve the removal of iron filings. On average, the tool life is relatively increased by 20-50%, especially for deep hole machining and tools with central water holes. The improvement effect is particularly significant!
Q:Does the high-pressure machine make a lot of noise when it is operating?

Q:Does HPC-70 have a maximum water pressure of 70bar? How to control the pressure?

Q:Will the HPC-70 pressure be affected by the water outlet of the tool? How to judge?
The maximum water outlet hole is set at 3mm for a single hole, with the maximum water output (30L/min) and pressure (70bar). If the diameter of the water outlet exceeds 3mm, the pressure will gradually decrease with the larger the hole diameter.
